Men’s Long Jump - 2023 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships - Analysis!
The 2023 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships Men’s Long Jump was the greatest Long Jump Competition in College Track And Field History!
The Competition took place on March 10th 2023 in the Albuquerque Convention Center, Albuquerque, New Mexico which is at Elevation.
First Place: Jamaican Athlete Carey MCLEOD of University of Arkansas jumped 8.40m (27ft-6¾in) to win the competition on his 6th and final jump. This jump places him 5th on the all-time Indoor NCAA list & it equals James Beckford's Jamaican National Indoor Record for the mens long jump.
Second Place: Mississippi State’s Cameron Crump, on his 4th attempt, tied his PR of 8.39m (27ft-6½in) that won the 2023 SEC Indoor Championships & it places him 6th all-time.
Third Place: Jeremiah Davis of Florida State, also on his 6th and final attempt, jumped a new PR of 8.37m (27ft-5½in) placing him 8th NCAA all-time
Fourth Place: Jamaican Athlete Wayne Pinnock University of Arkansas twice jumped 8.33m (27ft-4in), which makes him the Number 10 best Long Jumper in NCAA Indoors History of All-Time.
