China criticizes US defense reports.<br />China said the US defense report that it strengthens its nuclear and missile forces to change the international order is "provocative".<br /><br />In a statement today, China's Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Khiem expressed "stubborn opposition" to the "China Military Strength Report" recently released by the US Department of Defense.<br /><br />The Chinese Military Strength Report released by the Pentagon on September 1 is an annual report submitted to the US congress since 2000 to provide parliamentarians with the latest assessment of the expansion process. China's defense power<br /><br />According to Wu, the China Military Strength Report 2020 "promotes the so-called Chinese threat and defames the modernization of the Chinese military".
